ABOUT LINDA - Purveyor of Fine Living, Simple Pleasures, and a Life-Well-Lived and creator of the New England Grand Union Style.

Getting ready for our wedding

As a New Englander by ancestry and also by choice, I’m a wife to my best friend Benjamin, mother and step-mother of five grown children, and I believe in charging through life with a smile and sense of humor.  Life goes by too fast, so why not make every day as fun and enjoyable as we can? Right?

A bit about me:

My passion for New England’s towns, historic properties, living life to the fullest, and curating a full life has been evident from an early age.  I enjoy sharing with others with hopes of inspiring them to find their own vision of fine living, no matter how simple or grand.

I’m a life-long entrepreneur, starting with selling flowers, small finds, and sold hand-drawn magazines door-to-door as a child. In adulthood, I’m an interior designer and lifestyle expert who has been running an interior design, retail and lifestyle information business for over 30 years.

My childhood hand-drawn magazine became a reality in 2014 when I published the first issue of New England Fine Living magazine, a glossy coffee table publication showcasing homes, gardens, decor, and life in New England; all inspired by New England’s refined side.

Accomplishments

My life as an ASID interior designer, event planner, and small business marketing professional has generated numerous awards for my company including The Massachusetts Retailers Award for Visual Merchandising, several Readers Choice Awards, a local Rotary International award for creating and producing their most successful fundraising event... their masquerade balls, which are still on-going today.

My company or my work has been in Entrepreneur Magazine, Success Magazine, North Shore Living Magazine, South Shore Living Magazine, Gate House Media, Salem Evening News along with Boston-based television stations and radio shows.

A fun fact is that I was also selected and offered inclusion on two national interior design shows - HGTV Designer's Challenge and Design Star, but that's another story in itself.

Please Note:

There is a waiting list for new design projects, but products such as wallpaper and fabrics can still be ordered from our line of vendors.
